Artist's Statement

I find so much joy in painting! I love to be able to capture on canvas the beauty that my great God has created for our enjoyment. After all He IS the Master Artist!

My aim is to achieve a look of beauty, color and simplicity in my paintings. If my paintings bring a sense of joy and beauty to your soul, then I feel that I have accomplished what I set out to do.

Although I have had some art education in the past through a college art course, and also an art correspondence course, for the most part I am self-taught. Each painting is a challenge, and I am constantly learning and growing with each new painting I do.

As I have a desire to paint, I also have a desire to help the poor and the orphan. So I have decided that a minimum of 10% from the sale of each painting will go to a ministry called, "Orphan's Tear."
